We are a family run business operated by Abraham and Nicole Voytek.
Abe is a fashion industry veteran of over 15 years, known for his unique chainstitch embroidery style and passion for all things denim. Nicole is a customer service minded professional dedicated to providing the best experience for our online customers and store front guests alike.
With our attention to detail, whether in the stitching on our jeans or the signature scent in our store, we hope to provide memorable products and experiences for years to come.

We offer quality clothing, chainstitch embroidery, and accessories meant to be enjoyed for a lifetime of love and wear. Our products are inspired from a love of all things vintage americana with a western and workwear focus.
We believe in the heritage of the garment craft and produce our products on vintage machines using the techniques and materials from the golden age of americana.
How we do it
Custom Creations
Every piece at Rag Proper Overalls is brought to life by Abe, right here in our Bigfork, MT studio. From design to final stitch, he handles it all—drawing inspiration from the rich history of the outdoors and the rugged beauty of vintage American workwear.
Each garment and accessory is thoughtfully designed, patterned, cut, and sewn in-house using time-honored techniques and as many U.S.-grown and -made materials as possible. As an avid outdoorsman, Abe often incorporates elements from his own trapline or the latest hunting season—like fur or down—making some pieces a true field-to-fashion expression of wearable art.
